MOM FILM FEST 2023 EVENT LIST
PANEL DISCUSSION:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 25th at 3pm EDT
In partnership with mama.film and Studio IX, two fellow organizations championing the advocacy for moms working in film and television, our panel discussion will focus on the challenges moms in our industry face. From the lack of opportunity and flexibility gatekeepers and decision-makers keep hold of in order to keep moms out, to the nonexistent childcare offerings at film festivals, networking events, etc. The onus is on us to create our own village, but why is that? Tune for an inside look at some of the ways our organizations are making tangible changes and the challenges taking place. Be sure to mark your calendars and join us on our Facebook page.
NETWORKING MIXER:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 25th at 7pm EDT
Come mix, mingle, and hang with other moms and creatives working in film and entertainment during our networking happy hour. We’ll provide some fun, chat, and there may even be music. You provide your drink of choice and readiness to make connections. This industry is all about who you know and you just might meet your next collaborator! Register here.
PITCH MATERIALS WORKSHOP:
